    Description

Handmade Sturgeon decoy, 17" long, maker unknown, found about 40 years ago, bought it in a little town called Pipe, which is on the east shore of Lake Winnebago.  I was told that it was made by a Catholic priest, but do not know his name.  The decoy appears to be from the 1950s.  It's definitely old and in good shape.  It has tack eyes and metal fins.  Old original paint.  Like all wooden fish decoys, it's weighted inside with lead in order for the decoy to sink down in the hole cut through the ice.  The fishermen throw a spear at the Sturgeon as it approaches the decoy.  Nice color scheme, structurally in good condition.  It's just a nice old Sturgeon decoy.  I'll pay the postage in the lower 48 states only.  No returns.
