Atmega8A Microprocessor from Microchip and a proprietary sofware proportional control of the temperature. Very easy intuitive user interface with large LED Display. Switchable C/F temperature scale. Plug-in heating element so no soldering required to replace.
MULTI-TOOL CAPABILITY - Available tools include: Micro Tweezers, Macro Tweezers, LED Iron, 3D Sculpting tool and WQ Composite tip iron (75 Watts). All tools feature a quick heating ceramic heating element for fast response and heat recovery.
INTELLIGENT FUNCTIONS - Digital Offset for temperature calibration, System Lock to prevent accidental use of the station, 2 quick jump temperature settings. Settable 0-60 min. Auto Sleep Function to put the system to sleep when not in use taking advantage of the vibration sensor in the iron. The 9378 Station will also detect the tool installed and adjusts accordingly.
VERSATILE SOLDERING IRON STAND - The configuratble stand can be setup with the spool holder on either side of the station and there is an optional sponge holder. The stand will fit any of the available irons.
