    Description

One of a Kind. 100% genuine natural heavenly Blue Australian Fire Opal Star of David Pendant.
An extraordinary piece is scale, color, design and symbolism.
The Star of David comes from King David's shield that he took with him to lead in battle. Six points were connected, the same six points that you will find as the ancient 'contract' by cutting a pomegranate in half, and pressing the fruit down on a surface to symbolize a contract between two people. David connected these six point and thus the 'Star' was born.
Only G-d can make a covenant, however, and David's shield bore this ancient symbol, preceding his victories.
In 1948 the rebirth of the nation of Israel, the star has carried the dual significance of representing both the state of Israel, and the jewfish community.
Fast forward to modern times and we see two triangles, The Gold one represents G-d, reaching down to man and the silver is man, reaching up to God. These arms are weaved in and out of each other beautifully ... intertwined.
This is a hand made, very special piece. It is large at 1.5" in diameter, heavy at 11.6 grams, has a double 'pass through' bail, and is textured with fire! The 4c natural water or heaven blue opal is a doublet measuring in at half an inch. It rests slightly above the frame giving the weaved arms of the Star great dimension.
This is a quality piece that we know you will love. You should wear it often.  An unforgettable, artists made, collectable piece of art in jewelry. It is sterling silver 925 with 14k gold ~ two metals, representing both the divine and humankind.
Hand forged. Only one made. new with tag 7.00
