    Description

This is a beautiful purple carnival glass cream pitcher.
The glass is a clear dark purple. The heavy carnival finish radiates a brilliant rainbow with green, purple, blue and metallic gold, while letting the natural beauty of the glass shine through.
The lovely pattern is called Cherry and Cable or Cherry Thumbprint. It has large clusters of cherries and leafs hanging from a cable repeating around. Around the bottom is a row of indented circles or thumbprints.
This pattern was originally made by Northwood in the early 1900s and later by Fenton Art Glass and Mosser.
Has a short collar base and stands appx 4-1/2" tall to the top of the pour spout and 4" at the side.
    New and in mint condition.
    Hand made pressed glass.
Made  by Mosser Glass of Cambridge Ohio.
What a wonderful addition for your collection, a joy to use and the perfect gift.
