This is a gorgeous large Purple Carnival Glass shoe jewelry ring holder.
The glass is a clear dark amethyst purple. The heavy carnival finish radiates a rainbow of warm colors while letting the natural beauty of the glass shine through. Blue, green, purple and even metallic gold.
Mosser Glass retired these slippers a while ago and they are becoming hard to find.
The pattern is called Victorian Rose. It is beautiful with embossed flowers pressed into the glass on the sides and even a curved toe, similar to court jester's shoes from bye gone years!
This is a larger toothpick or match holder. Stands 3" tall and is 6" long. I believe these slippers were also used as ashtrays in fancy settings! Make a wonderful jewelry ring holders now.
