VINTAGE 1950's IRIDESCENT MARIGOLD GLASS 2 PIECE DUCK TRINKET CANDY BATH POWDER

Description

Vintage 1950's iridescent Marigold glass 2 piece dish with lid. Was a gift in 1957 filled with Bath Powder.    Maker unknown to me. Dish measures 3 3/4 inches wide    6 inches long and 4 1/2 inches tall with lid in place;   1 3/4 inches tall without lid.
A small chip is noted on the underside of front of lid.  Paint noted to be peeling on duck's bill.
2 piece irridescent Marigold glass dish in shape of a sitting duck.  Duck has pale blue eyes and a yellow duck bill.  Tail does not have a defect or repair but it is part of the manufacture process .    Other duck dishes like this have the same seam.
This vintage 2 piece dish may be used for candy, hair barrettes or scrunchies,  bath salts or powders, little soaps etc,  rings or earrings
