’s classic musical comedy based on his 1968 film. “The Producers” opened in
April 2001
, and this is the
December 2001
Playbill for the show at the
St. James Theatre
in
New York City!
It even includes the
original ticket
from the
December 11
,
2001
evening performance. The show starred
Nathan Lane
and
Matthew Broderick
with Roger Bart, Gary Beach, Cady Huffman, Brad Oscar, and several others. This is the
original cast
on
Broadway!
The show was nominated for fifteen
Tony Awards
and won twelve, including Nathan Lane as
Best Actor in a Musical
and
Best Musical!
As shown in the photos, this vintage Playbill is in very good condition with some cover wear and light soiling, including a crease on the back cover. The Playbill is complete and remains stapled from its cover to its centerfold. It has nice clean pages with no writing, creases, rips, or tears
. The ticket is in great shape and remains loose inside the Playbill. This vintage Broadway Playbill magazine
